New position available:


We are looking for a motivated Field Team Coordinator with an interest in agriculture.

You will be responsible for proving on-the-ground support to the Impact Terra team based in Yangon. You will be based around Taunggyi or Lawksauk, Myanmar, but will travel around most of the time to interact with the farmers and gather data.

  • Visit agricultural areas in Souther-Shan State

  • Meet face-to-face with Golden Paddy users on their farms

  • Use mobile technology to collect data (e.g. geolocation, crop-type, -stage, -development)

  • Collaborate with local and international agronomic experts to analyze and interpret data (e.g. comparing crop predictions with measurements in the field)

  • Support marketing efforts from the Impact Terra marketing team (e.g. on-boarding new users and attending events)

  • Collect any data required to support the Golden Paddy application.

  • Report to Impact Terra’s management team

  • Regular visits to Yangon and other areas in Myanmar if necessary



  • Based around Taunggyi and Lawksauk

  • Excellent command of Burmese and English (e.g. local dialect or language is a plus)

  • Strong communicational skills (e.g. interviewing, surveying)

  • Strong presenting skills (e.g. speaking to large groups of people, conducting workshops)

  • Strong ICT skills (e.g. mobile apps, Microsoft Office)

  • Minimum of 1 years of relevant working experience

  • Degree in Agriculture or related field is a plus
